(1) Aamir Khan has reportedly shaved his head for his Bollywood Latest Movie Director Reema Kagti Suspense drama. He has shaved his head, but not completely. It’s basically a look which resembles the one he had in Ghajini. His role requires a shaven head which was believably done by his personal hair dresser.

(2) Aamir Khan Wife Kiran Rao, the director of the Dhobi Ghat Movie, said the first promo was released to familiarize the audience with the leading characters of the movie.

As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, she said that, "A simple story about people who meet in Mumbai and how they change. It's a story of their life and experiences in Mumbai, the city being the fifth character of the film."

"It is the first look of the film, like a curtain raiser, a sort of teaser/trailer. We wanted our audience to be familiar with its four leading characters, that's why we have not added dialogues in the promo."

“In the beginning, Aamir was not meant to be in this film. It's a short film, which I wanted to do with a very small crew and unknown faces for which I tried a lot and tested many characters. When I showed my idea to him (Aamir) and discussed, we were not getting anyone who could perform one of the leading characters, so, Aamir said, 'you could try me', means he could give it a try. “So, I said, 'yes', to him and he said, 'you would get an idea about how this role can be played'. And after the audition, his plan was successful. I could not look further and had to cast him only”

As per Latest Aamir Khan Blog Updation, he wrote that, "Thank you to all of you who came to the screening and for giving such a warm welcome to the Dhobi Ghat team. Thank you so much guys it was most overwhelming. We are having a great time at TIFF. And we are all most relieved that people seem to like the film."

As per Latest Aamir Khan Interviews, about his wife Kiran Rao, he said that, "When she told me she was writing a script I was very nervous, because I was thinking one of these days this script is going to be completed and I'll have to read it and what if I don't like it, it won't be a very comfortable situation. I was feeling bad. I thought, I hope she doesn't complete the script. I was so terrified. When it was finished, Khan pressed Rao to go visit his cousin and they would all read it together, hoping that if both he and his cousin disliked it "at least I'd have numbers on my side"

"It's so delicate and beautiful. Her characters speak in such a different and unique voice, and all of that hit me and I thought, 'Wow I married a really talented woman here.' When I fell in love the first time, I didn't know how really talented she was. When I read the script I was really amazed and I fell in love with her again."

"Actually, this character is so crabby and unpleasant and one morning she saw me in my usual crabby self, and she said, 'You know you're perfect for the role. And so how was it to be directed by his wife? "I felt like I was at home."

(1) The Aamir Khan starrer Dhobi Ghat, which has been directed by his Wife Kiran Rao, will have its world premiere at the 35th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The festival is scheduled from 9 - 19 September and will have 15 galas and 35 special presentations this year.

Dhobi Ghat Story: - Dhobi Ghat is set in Mumbai and revolves around the lives of four characters. In the teeming metropolis of Mumbai, four people separated by class and language are drawn together in compelling relationships. Shai, an affluent investment banker on a sabbatical, strikes up an unusual friendship with Munna, a young and beautiful laundry boy with ambitions of being a Bollywood actor, and has a brief dalliance with Arun, a gifted painter. As they slip away from familiar moorings and drift closer together, the city finds its way into the crevices of their inner worlds.

A division between India and Bharat (Hindustan) is clearly visible. I would have felt disconnected from my roots and my home in Mumbai if I were to go to Hollywood to make a career. Rural India is totally untouched by the filmmakers of today. As a director, Kiran is extraordinary. People call me perfectionist but Kiran let me undergo an audition to decide if I suit the role and then she cast me.”
