(1) After many years, Shahid Kapoor will be back to his roots and is set to spend quality time this year winter in the northern Indian state of Punjab — the setting of the film. The schedule will also see Sonam Kapoor joining in.

(2) He has turned down the offer to co-judge Jhalak Dikklaa Jaa 4 which is expected to go on floors in December alongside Madhuri Dixit and choreographer Remo D’Souza. Sony Entertainment, the channel helming the show, is now looking for a replacement for him.

(3) As per Latest Shahid Kapoor Interviews, he said that, “We’re working on a deadline. We were in talks with Shahid for a while, but he has opted out of the show. So, we’re considering some other popular names from Bollywood. But we cannot divulge names till we’ve not signed the deal,” says the official spokesperson for the channel.”

(4) One Bollywood Brand New Hot Jodi (Shahid Kapoor & Hot Deepika Padukone) will be seen romancing for Heer Ranjha. The movie will go on floors in April 2011. There will be six songs in it that will have a romantic essence without losing its contemporariness.

(1) Shahid Kapoor will work with and Producer Sajid Nadiadwala Director Sabir Khan for Bollywood Forthcoming Movie name ‘Heer Ranjha’. Script of this film is something which impressed him very well and he didn’t say ‘no’ for it.

This Hindi Film is expected to on floors next year in February.

(2) Shahid Kapoor has been giving the cold shoulder to director Shaad Ali who is Bollywood Latest Movie Bunty Aur Bubli’s Director wanted to cast Shahid for a film and the two had even met and discussed the same. But since then Shahid has been apparently avoiding Shaad.

Both have a three-film contract with Yashraj films.

So Shaad thought it would be a wise move to cast Shahid as the lead for his next venture. It would also help fulfil their commitments to Yashraj Films.

(3) Shahid Kapoor is being approached for the world tour with Ranbir Kapoor, who is getting the company of Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif repeatedly, but he has refused it due to the release of his upcoming movie Mausam and shooting for Sajid Khan’s next.
