Ranbir Kapoor Rockstar Movie – about his rehearsal for concert

(1) Ranbir Kapoor has been busy rehearsing for a concert that he is dedicating to his grand uncle, the late Shammi Kapoor. He will perform to tracks like O Haseena Zulfo Waali and Tareef Karu Kya Uski among others.

As reported 'Rahman live', the concert has A R Rahman performing live in concert for the first time for a film, Rockstar.

There are also performances by Nargis Fakhri, singer Mohit Chauhan, and Rahman's long-term associates Ranjit Barot and Sivamani.

The concert will be held soon.

I am just an actor. There is a wrong perception of what you're seeing on screen is me. What you're seeing on screen is an amalgamation of lot of people's efforts. There was a marriage of effort and thought and that's when Jordan, my character, was created. If you tell me to hold the guitar and play it, I can't do it. I need help and support of the crew around me.

There are many phases in this character's life that keep changing because the film spans over eight to ten years. Every phase was interesting. In fact, we went backwards while we were shooting this film.

I really enjoyed the phase when my character is in the college because the rest of the film is a little hard for me, to go down that zone and live that experience. I like the college parts because he was that wannabe rockstar and somebody tells him that to become one you had to break your heart.

He meets Heer, played by Nargis, and how he impresses her thinking that she will break his heart one day is the best phase of the movie according to me.

(2) Shahrukh Khan has been replaced by Youngistaan dude Ranbir Kapoor in the much-talked project 'Two States', produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller of same title, was earlier reported to be directed by Vishal Bharadwaj.

This movie is about a love story between a Punjabi boy and Tamil girl. How they fight the odds and get married forms the crux of the story.

Ranbir Kapoor – will play lead actor in role ‘Jaagte Raho’ Remake

(1) Ranbir Kapoor would like to star in the remake of the RK Films’ classic – Jaagte Raho.

This Hindi film was made in 1956, produced by his grandfather Raj Kapoor is relevant even today. It’s that entertains, educates, makes you laugh and cry all at the same time.

This Hindi Film had a similar vibe like the ‘Sadda haq’ song of his forthcoming film, which decries the double standards of the society. We must say we are mighty impressed.

(2) Ranbir Kapoor had learnt to play the guitar before he started shooting of Bollywood Upcoming Movies 2011 name “Rockstar”

“Everybody on the sets knows about this and looks forward to these sessions. Surprisingly, he also sings when he tries to tune in to the guitar.”

He loves music and his biggest grudge was that he hadn’t got the chance to play any musical instrument. Very few people know that he is very musically inclined and has learnt to play the tabla and drums too.

As per Latest Ranbir Kapoor Interviews, he said that, “I love learning new instruments. I know drums, tabla and now guitar. Before I started work on Rockstar, I learnt to play the guitar for my character. I’m enjoying it so much, that I carry it where ever I go and play it in my breaks or free time.”

For Bollywood Upcoming Movies 2011 name "Rockstar", Ranbir Kapoor is playing role of screamed fresher collegian student and accompanying him looked typically 'Hot Nargis Fakhri Delhi' with her salwar-kameez and silver bangles.

His character Jordan is based on the real life rockstar Jim Morrison. He is a very good lad as after the shooting wrapped up the actor was patient and clicked pictures with his fans.

The Hindi Film has been shooting all over the city, including places like Kotla Mubarakpur, Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah, Greater Kailash, IGI airport and Connaught Place.

Ranbir Kapoor planned to spend the New Year with Nargis and had invited her for for family celebrations at his Sister Riddhima’s place in Delhi.

It’s been a very hectic schedule, Delhi mein bahut garmi thi ... hum sab Mumbai ki baarish miss kar rahe the. The Delhi shoot will resume in the last week of October. After that, there are also plans to shoot in Manali and Jaipur.”

As per Latest Shammi Kapoor Interviews, he said that, “For me that is a great experience for the simple fact that I haven’t worked for 10 years or so now. I haven’t faced the camera not the professional ones and I am an ailing man, I undergo dialysis thrice a week. I have been suffering to that extent and I am disabled, I am on wheelchair as you can see but to me it is a great feeling like a window opening, a possibility for me to go out there and do it all over again.”
