He was very active online till November 2010.

After heard the news about Shammi Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra tweet at her page that, “Nothing will ever fill the void u left... i'm sorry i did not try RESSEE, but will do only for u... RIP.''

On October 19 last year he had tweeted to all his fans and followers, “Thank you all for your good wishes and great concern about my health. Whatsoever happens, jaane se pehle khuda hafiz keh kar jaunga. Love.''

Shammi Kapoor Death Cause – At 14th August, 5 a.m., he passed away at the Breach Candy Hospital.

He had been suffering from chronic renal failure.

He was one of the most versatile actors of Hindi cinema and will be fondly remembered for his brilliant work in movies like ‘An Evening in Paris’, ‘Junglee’, ‘Teesri Manzil’ and many more.
