But his Kolkata Knight Riders Team lost his first time against Chennai Super Kings.
He has been practicing for the event and danced to some of his smashing hits, and we won’t be surprised if he also promotes his latest film Ra.One, the promotions of which started with the World Cup.

Recently, also he had to miss the final match between India and Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium last Saturday because his toe injury.

Nevertheless, He is excited about IPL as his team with new members and new captain Gautam Gambhir played the first match of the season.

(2) Kareena Kapoor will add star power to the IPL which is starting today in Chennai.

All the credit goes to Shahrukh Khan because he brought Kareena Kapoor to the stadium. Unlike last year, she will not cheer for Mumbai Indians, this time she will cheer for Kolkata Knight Riders standing by his side. In this way, the duo will promote their upcoming high voltage sci-fic, ‘Ra. One’.

As per Latest Shahrukh Khan Interviews, he said that, "They're a bunch of smart and good cricketers. The team is looking great and I hope they perform well. Gauti is a good man with a good head. I'm sure he'll do well."

(1) As per Latest buzz, Actor Shahrukh Khan, who owns a large chunk of the team, is thinking of disowning the Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team 2010(KKR) because of In the first two years of IPL, KKR could not make it to the semifinals and this year too it is all but out of the race for the semis though just a slight theoretical chance (if other teams lose and the run rate is favorable) still exists for them to make it to the semis this year.

But As per Bollywood Badshah Shahrukh Khan Twitter Page Updation, he wrote, “Everyone jumps to silly conclusions as soon as we lose. Idiots who don't know perseverance and passion make me who I am.KKR is my team and I will never ever leave it.”
