Hrithik Roshan – Talks about his Agneepath 2 upcoming remake movies 2011
(1) Hrithik Roshan is presently busy shooting for Director Producer Karan Johar’s Agneepath candidly, confessed that a remake is not his cup of tea.
As per Latest Bollywood Interviews, he said that, “he was never interested in remakes, nor is he still interested and will never do a remake even in the future.”
“He accepted Karan’s offer in Agneepath as it is not a remake but has very little resemblance with the original classic. Hrithik is proud and excited to be a part of the film.”
Duggu portrayal of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in the film is a completely new and fresh character.

(2) Karan Johar said that,“I would rather call my film ‘a homage’ to the classic directed by Mukul S Anand. The film was produced by my father and I think that it is one of the best films ever made. That is exactly why we chose to make another film, which might be called an apt tribute to the earlier film.”
“The heart and soul remains the same — it’s still a similar struggle between the protagonist and the antagonist. But it is a totally different film. I feel it has turned out to be a very good and engaging film.”
