Latest Ranbir Kapoor News 2010:-

(1) Ranbir Kapoor Hit Films 2010 named Rajneeti Release Date 4th July – 2010, has set the cash registers ringing - courtesy its widely-appreciated content. As per Spice Cinemas Interview, 'Rajneeti' (released Friday) is a super-duper hit. The movie is being massively appreciated and will have a definite second weekend run. We have had an average occupancy of close to 95 per cent for 26 shows per day and we sold off 4,200 tickets in advance till Sunday. We have collected a gross of Rs.28 lakh and all shows are full today (Sunday)

(2) As per Latest Bollywood Gossips, Bollywood Bold Actor Ranbir Kapoor reached Hottest Deepika Padukone hotel room as he presented in Delhi to promote his film Rajneeti, Deepika Padukone was asleep and would not open the door. In fact she also refused to open when she realized Ranbir at the door. This infuriated the actor and he started banging the door hard. A director friend of both the stars intervened and it took about an hour to calm down Ranbir Kapoor and take him back to his hotel.

When I went up to Sanjay Leela Bhansali to assist him in Black, I had an agenda. At that time I was getting offers from different people but I was a big fan of Director Sanjay Bhansali and he was not offering me a film. So I thought maybe he doesn’t know I exist.

So I went to him with the intention to draw his attention so he would cast me in his next film. That’s what happened! My dream came true. After that, we prepared for this role for two-and-a-half years. He explained so many things about the character and taught me how to pronounce words and modulate my voice. He is a perfectionist. Though he would scream at Hottest Sonam Kapoor and me at times, at the end of the day, he was doing it to better our performance.
